Spring Clean Up – 1 VISIT (APRIL)
- Dethatch and rake all lawn areas
- Remove debris from all lawn and garden areas
- Prune winter kill and remove any perennials remaining from last season
- Cultivate and edge all garden and tree wells
- Apply granular fertilizer to all plants and shrubs
WEEKLY LAWN MAINTENANCE (MAY TO MID OCTOBER)
- Debris and garbage will be removed prior to cutting
- String trimming around all buildings, gardens and walkways
- Height of grass will be maintained at 2-2.5”
- Adjustments to mower height will occur when weather conditions are hot and dry to avoid turf damage
- All areas will be blown clean upon completion
WEEKLY GARDEN MAINTENANCE (MAY TO MID OCTOBER)
- All gardens and tree wells will be weeded, cultivated and edged to maintain a neat weed free appearance
- Bi-weekly garden cultivation will occur
- Generally half of all gardens and tree wells will be completed in 1 visit and the other half the following visit
- Perennial flowers which are spent will be removed as necessary
- Annual flowers such as geraniums will be dead headed as required
PRUNING
- All flowering shrubs once flowering has completed
- Evergreens, hedges, groundcover and vines under 12ft will occur after the spring flush of new growth
- All pruning will be completed according to the plants individual needs and customer preference
- All debris will be removed from the property
FALL CLEAN UP (OCTOBER – NOVEMBER)
- Removal of all debris including leaves, annuals and perennials
- All lawn and garden areas will be raked or blown clean as required
- This is not a weekly service, but as deemed necessary
- Final grass cutting and clean up will be determined according to weather conditions
LAWN PROGRAM
- 3 Fertilizer applications:
- MAY – Slow release granular fertilizer
- JULY – slow release granular fertilizer to maintain turf during stressful summer months
- OCTOBER/NOVEMBER – Fall slow release granular fertilizer promoting root growth and spring green up
